There have had complaints last year and expect more this year about the race dates in the year’s schedule.  We recognize, and share, in the frustrations associated with weather and conflicting dates with the other organizations.   These are factors that are simply out of our control but we do feel that it is important to acknowledge these concerns.
Mission Raceway Park has multiple “Racing Clubs” using the facility.    The “Car Club”, our landlord, sets up the annual schedule for the facility, doing its best to accommodate all the clubs equally.   We are given our  dates roughly in November for the year following. CMA then does what it can with the dates we were given to setup the various race series.   We cannot select our dates, so we have to work with what is given to us.  Moving to another facility is always an option but is an overwhelming challenge to deal with, and seek approval, at each of the Municipal, Provincial and Federal levels for the use of suitable lands.

Long and short of it?  We can race in Mission on the dates we are given, or, not.  

We are all in this club together and we need your support if we are going to continue to operate this facility for your enjoyment. Please support, promote and come out to your track now and well into the future !   Note that the more riders we share our expenses with, the less each riders fee will be.
